DIY VITAMIN C SERUM or TONER with added boost of green tea and Vitamin E offers tons of anti-aging benefits: repairs cellular damage, stimulates collagen and elastin production, reduces fine lines and wrinkles and provides antioxidant protection! This recipe will keep for about 7-10 days (i usually run out of it before then though). Again, since Vit C can be unstable and oxidize quickly - rendering it ineffective, so I suggest making small batches like this one every week or so.
This mixture yields a serum with about 5% Vitamin C. I recommend starting there. This keeps the serum/toner very mild, as too much Vitamin C can cause burning or irritation. So please be very careful when you are adding in the Vitamin C powder. Try and use precise measurements if possible.
